Lola Belle Bollin, 97, of Niceville, FL passed away May 24, 2017. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. June 5, 2017, at the Floral Hills Chapel at 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, Mo. with visitation 1 hour preceding the funeral service. Burial will follow, in the Floral Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Shriners Hospital for Children.



Lola Belle Bollin was born in St. Joseph, Mo. on May 31, 1919, to Charlie Orvall Carpenter and Ethel May Carpenter.



She was born in St. Joseph, Mo. and moved with the family in 1933 to Kansas City, Mo. She graduated from Northeast High School, in Kansas City, and attended the KC Business College and KC Junior College. She had lived in the Raytown and Independence area for most of her life and worked for the GAB Business Services Company until retiring in 1983. She recently moved from the Heritage House in Independence, Mo. to the Manor at Blue Water Bay, Niceville, Fl.



She was a member of the Community of Christ Church and attended services at the Heritage House Congregation. She was a Past Matron of East Gate Chapter #367, Order of The Eastern Star and past Grand Representative of Washington DC.



Preceding her in death was her mother and father and a sister, Virginia E. Carpenter. Survivors include a son, Gene, and wife Jan of Niceville, FL, a grandson Joshua and wife Anna, and 4 great grandchildren, Mason, Lakin, Josiah, and Kade of Atlanta, GA., a sister, Alberta M. Jordan of Independence, Mo and a brother, Charles O. Carpenter Jr. of Overland Park, Ks. and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
