Lon was born on January 23, 1934 and passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018.

Lon was a resident of South Dakota at the time of passing.

He grew up on a farm in by Talmage, Nebraska and attended Talmage High School where he graduated with the class of 1952.

After graduation, he joined the US Air Force and served as a flight engineer.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Chartered Oak Christian Church, Talmage, Nebraska followed by the interment at Grant Evergreen Cemetery in Talmage Nebraska with Military Honors by the Talmage American Legion Post.
