Lora L. Bailey, 48, of Amherst, died Thursday, December 14, 2017 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born May 26, 1969 in Lorain and had been an Amherst resident for the past 6 years moving from Vermilion.

Lora had worked for Ford Motor Company, Lorain as an inspector for over 20 years.

She practiced Buddhism and enjoyed following the Buddhist traditions. She also enjoyed gardening, painting, cooking, and taking care of her family.

She is survived by her sons, Chris (Brooke) Wilsey of Knoxville, TN and Joshua Wilsey of Amherst; granddaughter, Hayley Moury; and her brother, Bennie Bailey of Maumee, OH.

She was preceded in death by her son, Glenn S. Wilsey,V in 2011; brother, Scott Bailey; and her mother Mary Jane (nee Boyd) Bailey.

Private services will be held.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland, 10415 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44106.
