Lorri was born in LaCross Wisconsin on March 30, 1939, the oldest of three Children. Her family moved to Puyallup when she was a young girl and she graduated from Puyallup High School in 1957. She met her Husband John on a blind date to play pinochle while he was stationed at McChord Air Force Base, they were married on April 2nd, 1959. John's career took the newlywed couple to Salt Lake City Utah where their first two children were born. They returned to Puyallup in 1965, where except for two short years in Hawaii she lived the remainder of her life. She was a stay at home Mom for her children but enjoyed many things in life. She loved to oil paint, crochet and was very accomplished until her hands shook too much for her to continue. She also loved to bowl at one point becoming the Secretary of the Valley Women's Bowling Association for many years. Prior to her health taking a turn, she would go to many tournaments including the National Women's Bowling Tournaments, especially when they were in Reno or Las Vegas
Mom loved her Seattle Mariners. She would watch every televised game. She loved having her children and grandchildren around her. Especially when they came to see her lights on her angel filled Christmas tree.
