Lottie G. Brown, 90 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Sunday, May 14, 2017, at Dyer Nursing Home in Dyer, Tennessee.
Born Saturday, October 9, 1926 in Dyer County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late George Franklin Pierce and the late Annie C. Hendricks Pierce. Mrs. Brown retired from HECO Manufacturing after thirty three years of service and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Yorkville, Tennessee.
Graveside services for Mrs. Brown will be 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Yorkville Cemetery. Officiating this service will be Rev. Billy Criswell. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
She is survived by three grandchildren, Cody Finley of Yorkville, Tennessee, Christy Hollis (Dustan) of Yorkville, Tennessee and Russ Finley (Candace) of Newbern, Tennessee; five great-grandchildren, Sydney Finley and Aidan Finley both of Newbern, Tennessee and Austin Fletcher, Myra Grace Hollis and Wyatt Hollis all of Yorkville, Tennessee and one brother,Ted Pierce of Dyersburg, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, R. E. Brown; one daughter, Letha Finley, two brothers, Marvin Leslie Pierce and J. W. Pierce and one sister, Juanita Gordon.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
