He was born August 3, 1925, in Manchester, NH the son of Louis A. and Elvira (Petit) Faucher, Sr. He was a 1943 graduate of Keene High School, where he was fondly known as "Golden Toe", for his kicking skills on the football field.

He went on to proudly serve our Nation as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. He always believed in the saying, "once a Marine, always a Marine". He often also said, "Marines NEVER retire". On April 19, 1952 he married the love of his life: Barbara Kent. In the 1970's he served as a selectman for the City of Keene.

For many years he worked for MPB Manufacturing in Keene. He was a very hard working man, who was devoted to the care of his family. When he wasn't at work, he enjoyed being surrounded by those he loved, especially his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed watching sports events, both on television and in person: Red Sox games were always on during baseball season and he Referried for the Harlem Globe Trotter games, when they played in Keene. He very much enjoyed the time he spent umpiring and referring with NH State Senator, Junie Blasdell across New England.

Near the end of his journey, he found a welcoming home at Westwood. He was able to become a part of the community there and be a part of the activities that they had. His favorite was BINGO.

He is survived by his wife: Barbara Faucher of N. Swanzey, three daughters: Louise M. Winslow of Brattleboro, VT, Deborah A. Faucher of N. Swanzey and Renee E.
