Louis was born on August 9, 1929 and passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017.

Louis was a resident of Charlotte, North Carolina at the time of passing.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 5, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 6 in the chapel of Hankins & Whittington with Rev. Dr. Deborah Starczewski officiating. A reception for family and friends will immediately follow the service and then conclude with burial at Sharon Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org . Finally, for you Dad, "That's a Louis F. Harrelson guarantee!!"
