Louise Jeanne Clark, 69, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born on September 9, 1947, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Alda (nee Porter) Beatty. A 1965 graduate of North Side High School, Louise also attended Purdue University and graduated from Parkview School of Nursing in 1968. She was a Registered Nurse for ICU/CCU Level 4; ACLS certified and member of the Code Blue Team at Parkview Hospital for over 28 years, retiring in 1996. After retirement, she continued working as physician's assistant for Allen County Cardiology and critical care nurse for home health care. She was a lifelong Episcopalian, beginning as a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and later attending St. Albans Episcopal Church, Fort Wayne. An Equestrian, Louise's passion was horses; she enjoyed attending horse shows, riding/caring for her horses, finding garage sales, and watching movies. Louise had a huge heart and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Floyd Clark; daughters, Evelyn (Roger Sheets) Clark and Eileen Clark; son, Eric Clark; grandchildren, Tyler, Gretchen, Chelcie, and Braeden, all of Fort Wayne; and brother, Jim (Lori) Beatty of Marysville, Mich. Funeral Service will be 11am, Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be from 2-4 & 6-8pm Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations to the American Heart Association.
