Louise Lange Stewart of New Orleans, LA. passed away on Wednesday, November 08, 2017, following a short illness. She was born on December 23, 1929, and was the daughter of the late Mr. Sidney A. Lange, Sr. and Mrs. Emily Percival Douglas Lange.



She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and received a B.A. in Art History from Loyola University. She was a member of the Orleans Club, Junior League, The Salon, and served on the Board at The Maison Hospitaliaire. She reigned, as Queen, of Caliphs of Cairo and Queen of Covenant Nursing Home. She is pre deceased by her brothers Reverend Sidney A. Lange, Jr., S.J. and John H. Lange, Sr.



She is survived by her sister, Emily Percival Lange LeBlanc of Baton Rouge, her two daughters, Louise Marie Stewart and Edwa Therese Stewart; grandchildren, David John Brennan, Jr., (Ashley) Paul Stewart Brennan, (Kelsey), Sydney Stewart-Barnes, and Lindsey Stewart-Barnes, great-grandson David John Brennan, III, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends.



Funeral Service for friends and family will be on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 6367 St. Charles Ave., New Orleans with visitation at 10am-11am and funeral services at 11am. Private interment will follow at Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery. Reception to follow at Holy Name of Jesus Parish Center, 6220 LaSalle Place across from Holy Name of Jesus School.
