Ludlow was born on December 26, 1940 in the parish of St. Andrew, Jamaica. He was born to Mortimer and Mary Chambers. He was the youngest of five siblings, Larry, Osbourne, Eileen, Lelith and Phyllis all of whom are now deceased. In his early years he attended Saints Peter and Paul School. He played for University Youth Club and was considered one of the best cricketer and football players. He migrated to England in 1958 and worked for the British Railroad for many years.

In 1969, he migrated to New York City. He met and married the love of his life Vivienne Ross in 1971. They had 4 children of this Union; Paul (deceased), Kevin, Stephen, and Lisa. He worked for several companies throughout New York and New Jersey. In 1988, he relocated to Florida with his family. He worked for Tri-City Electric and Frito-Lay before retiring.

He enjoyed his music, he collected vintage records and loved to boast on his collections. He loved to go fishing and his catches were amazing. He enjoyed raising numerous species of birds, fish; especially his beloved Koi fish and the pond he built just for them. His green thumb flourished throughout his yard. He was proud of his bountiful crops.

He was a family man to the fullest extent. His family came first at all times. He ran to everyone's beck and call. His friends will tell you he was a jovial prankster and always ready for a debate. He was a great storyteller who remembered everything with precise details.

He is survived by his devoted wife Vivienne of 45 years.

His children: Kevin, Stephen, Daughter-in- Law Danielle and Lisa.

Grandchildren: Dominique, Tyler, Amani, Jaden, Shamir, Jordan and Mason.

Great Grandchild: Dior (Fat-Girl)

A large host of Nephews, Nieces, Family and Friends who will miss him dearly.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 8 from 6 - 8 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Apopka, FL. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 9 at 10:00 AM at Annunciation Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs, FL with interment to follow at Edgewood/Greenwood Cemetery, Apopka, FL.
