Luverne was born on June 1, 1924 and passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017.

Luverne was a resident of Mankato, Minnesota at the time of passing.

Luverne graduated from Osage High School in 1941.

Luverne was married to Darlene.

There will be a private family service at Bethlehem Lutheran Church Mankato. Burial with military honors will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park Mankato. A Public Celebration of Luvernes Life will be held at a later date.
