Mac Van Horn, 84, of Dover, passed to his Heavenly home on February 12, 2018, at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Hospice Home. He was born May 25, 1933, in Brownstown, IL to Harlan and Julia (Britt) Van Horn.

Mac greatly loved the Russellville community. He was a member of the All Saints Episcopal Church, a past board member of Friendship Community Care and the Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce, a past chairman of the AIDC, founder of Van Horn Construction, MVH Corporation, and Van Horn Family Partnership.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Trevor Van Horn.

Survivors include his childhood sweetheart and wife of 64 years, Donna (Howell) Van Horn; daughter, Marcia Van Horn; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Pam Van Horn; brother, Bob Van Horn; three grandchildren, Madison, Dalton, and Ryan Van Horn (Tiffaney McCutheon, fiancée); and two great-grandchildren, Kailey McCutheon and Jaxon Van Horn.

A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018, at the All Saints Episcopal Church with the Rev. Dr. Robert Brown officiating. Burial will be private in Rest Haven Memorial Park and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Mike Miller, Sid Brain, Bud Gunter, Dan Howell, Lannie Prince, and Joe Hendrix.

Honorary Pallbearers are Doyle Gunter, Jim Tischhauser, and Milton Eoff.
