Sr. Parker was born on October 5, 1914 and passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017.

Sr. Parker was a resident of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania at the time of passing.

Sister Magdalena graduated from St. Mary's High School in Wilkes-Barre and received her degree in Elementary Education from Misericordia University as well as a Masters Degree from Notre Dame University.

The celebration of her life will begin at Mercy Center Chapel, Dallas, PA with a prayer service on Tuesday September 12 at 9:00am followed by visiting hours until 10:15am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am and burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Carverton, PA Memorial contributions in the name of Sister Magdalena may be made to Mercy Center P. O. Box 370, Dallas, PA 18612.
