ROCKWELL CITY- Marcy L. Doster, 65, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at home with her family at her side in Rockwell City. 
Graveside Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Greenfield Township Cemetery, Knierim, with Pastor Jim Davis officiating. Visitation will be 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, at the Palmer & Swank Funeral Home, Rockwell City, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
Marcy is survived by her husband, Gary; sons, Dr. Craig (Jenny) Doster of Channahon, IL, Tony (Robin) Doster of Rockwell City, and Brad (Lisa) Doster of Memphis, MO; grandchildren, Jacob Doster, Alena Doster, Sophia Doster, Lacey Wurr, Lara Wurr, Logan Wurr, Lexus Doster, Abby Doster, and Laney Doster; great-grandchildren; her mother LaMona Folkerts of Fort Dodge; and sister Lana (Brian) McHughes of Wichita, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her father, Wilbert Folkerts; and sisters, Kay Condon, and Joy Folkerts.
Marcy L. Doster was born September 11, 1951, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She attended schools in Palmer and Manson, and graduated from Manson High School, with the Class of 1969. On January 8, 1971, she was united in marriage to Gary Doster. Marcy was a homemaker, who was dedicated in raising her three sons. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and had fond memories of working on the farm and being a dedicated wife and mother while being a strong role model for her family. Furthermore, she enjoyed spending time with Gary and appreciating all that life had to offer. Marcy also worked at Sunny View, Sunny Knoll, and Opportunity Living over the years before retiring in 2012.
