MARGARET GRACE (CURTIS) HANCOCK March 31, 1929 ~ April 7, 2018 Margaret was born in Alix, AR to Edward and Meda Curtis, the youngest of five children. They moved to Washington when she was 13 years old. She attended Ridgefield High School and was always proud to be a "Spudder". Margaret married Ralph "S" Hancock in 1946 and they were happily married for 57 years before Ralph passed away in 2003. Margaret was an excellent homemaker, mother, and wife. She enjoyed a good joke, playing cards, reading, writing stories, wood carving, traveling, spending time with family and friends, but most of all, loving people. Her many hugs and kisses will be greatly missed. Margaret is survived by her children, Charles C. Hancock (Malissa), Ralph Scott Hancock (Karan) and Patsy Carlson (Jerry); and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sat., June 2, 2018 from 2p.m. to 5p.m., at the Ridgefield Community Center, 210 N. Main Ave., Ridgefield, WA 98642. Please come and share some memories. Memorial contributions can be made to a support group for dementia caregivers.
