Margaret Sue Hinkle Tabor, 84, of Knoxville and Blountville, left to meet her Lord and Savior on January 24, 2014. Sue was born on June 19, 1929 in Hinton, West Virginia and graduated from Hinton High School. She met the love of her life, George Tabor, at Concord College, then obtained a teaching degree at East Tennessee State University. She taught school, then raised their children, Nancy (husband, Luke Cooper), Mary Alice (husband, Don Vowell), Janie, Tim (wife, Lela), and Terry, who survive her. She is also survived by her brother, Max. Her brothers, Hubert and Jimmy, predeceased her. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, Kristofer and Abby, Jose' and Tono, Maggie and Nick, Seth, Caleb, Terry Jr. and Cheyenne. If she could, Sue would say thank you to her many friends and care givers at Echo Ridge, NHC Farragut and Oak Ridge, and Parkwest Hospital. Instead of flowers, please consider a gift to the Building Fund of Colonial Heights Christian Church, 105 Meadow Lane, Kingsport, Tennessee 37663. Two memorial services will be held. In Kingsport, a memorial service will be held at Colonial Heights Christian Church on Monday, January 27, 2014, at 7 p.m. Receiving of friends will be at 6 p.m. In Knoxville, a memorial service will be held at Cornerstone Christian Church, 1411 Lantana Lane, on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. Receiving of friends will be at 5:30 p.m. Arrangements are by East Lawn Funeral Home, Kingsport, Tennessee.
