Margo was born on December 21, 1939 and passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017.

Margo was a resident of Madison, Alabama at the time of passing.

Born and raised in Catskill, New York, she was a graduate of Catskill High School and Virginia Intermont College.

She was also a Red Cross Volunteer, serving at many blood drives and donating many gallons of her rare blood type. Margo was the recipient of numerous awards, including most notably the Department of the Army Outstanding Civilian Service Medal and the Artillery Order of Molly Pitcher Award.

The visitation will be held at Asbury Methodist Church on Hughes Road in Madison, Wednesday, September 13th from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with the celebration of life immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the American Red Cross, Asbury Handbell Choir, or the charity of your choice.
