Mariantonia (nee Martini) Mascelli, 93, of Paterson, NJ passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at her home. Born in Fraine Province Chieti, Italy she came to the United States in 1955 settling in Paterson where she resided since. Before her retirement, she was employed as a seamstress with the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, Paterson for many years. Mrs. Mascelli was a faithful parishioner of St. Michael R.C. Church, Paterson. Mariantonia was predeceased by her husband, Antonio Mascelli (2008); one son, Vincent Mascelli; her parents, Vincenzo Martini and Mariantonia (nee Stampone) Martini; two brothers, Philipo Martino and Nicolino Martino; and her two sisters, Concettina Pacelli and Maria DiLizia. Survivors include: her son, Angelo Mascelli and his wife, Dawn of Clifton; her daughter, Elisa Woollen of Paterson; nine grandchildren, Mark Woollen, Gina Ianacco, Vincent Mascelli, Michelle Cassibba, Michael Mascelli, Angelo Mascelli, Adrian Wesolowski, Nicholas Mascelli and Juliana Mascelli; and by twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral Services are 9:15 am Saturday from Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton and 10:00 am Mass at St. Michael R.C. Church, 70 Cianci Street, Paterson. Entombment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting hours Friday 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Passaic Valley Hospice, 783 Riverview Drive, Totowa, NJ 07511.
