Marie was born on December 22, 1931 and passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016.

Marie was a resident of New Hartford, New York at the time of passing.

She graduated from T.R. Proctor High School. and furthered her education earning her Bachelors and two Masters Degrees from the College of St. Rose in Albany NY.

Marie was married to Joseph Jr.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to celebrate and remember her life. There will be calling hours in Utica at the Matt Funeral Home 700 Rutger St. corner of Mohawk St. Utica NY from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday October 16 2016. Maries Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Church 900 Madison Avenue Albany NY at 2:00 pm on Monday October 17 2016. The family will greet visitors at the conclusion of Mass in the church. Interment will take place in St. Agnes Cemetery Menands NY at the convenience of the family.

In memory of Marie J. Donovan and in lieu of flowers those wishing to express an act of kindness may consider support of the Alzheimers Association the George A. Nole II Scholarship Fund at Notre Dame High School Utica NY or Hospice Palliative Care.
