MARION “D.O.” BURDEN, age 62, Cynthiana, died Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Born in Cynthiana, June 23, 1955 to the late Marion “Luke” and Ardell Combs Burden, he was self-employed and a member of Cynthiana Christian Church. He is survived by his wife, Paula Roles Burden; two sons, Brian (Maclyn) Burden and Bradley Burden, both of Cynthiana; two brothers, Greg (Beverly) Burden, Winchester and Jeff Burden, Louisville; a granddaughter, Lennon Burden; one nephew, Grant Burden; a niece, Lane Burden; a host of other nieces and nephews and a special dog, Rosie Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M Tuesday at Cynthiana Christian Church by Dr. Larry Bishop. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday at the church. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Cynthiana Christian Church Building Fund. Active pallbearers will be Dwayne Florence, Drew Golden, Tom Dailey, Oscar Brooks, Danny Clapp and Jimmy Allison. Honorary pallbearers will be David Mahorney, Steve Persinger, Phillip Burden and Rory Thomas.
