Marjorie Anne Putnam went to be with Jesus on Easter Sunday surrounded by her loving family. Memorial Service: 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2017 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Chapel. Reception following at 4:00 at First Baptist Colleyville 5300 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville TX 76034.



Marjorie was born on September 18, 1940 to Clovis and Marie Putnam in Dallas, Texas. She enjoyed singing in group performances in church, dancing, reading, decorating, shopping, boating, and playing the piano and organ. Marjorie loved going to her parent’s lake house on Cedar Creek, and spending time with her family. She retired with over 25 years of dedicated service with the Corps of Engineers Fort Worth. Over her 25 years of experience she trained many Colonels that later became Generals. Marjorie fiercely loved her children and referred to each of them as her “favorite”, she will be missed by many.



Marjorie was welcomed into Heaven by her parents and beloved grandson Landry Gardner.



Survivors: children, Andy Gardner, wife LeAnne, Kathy Gardner-Yates, husband Joe, Karey Daniels and husband Chuck; brother, Buster Putnam, and wife Judith; grandchildren, Lindsey and Garrett Gardner; nephews, Chris Putnam, wife Amy, Jason Putnam, wife Perla; great-nieces and nephews, Tanner, Court, Jack and Aubrey.
