Marjorie I. (Johnson) Kark of Port Crane, 84, went home to be in the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, her loving family by her side. Marjorie is survived by her husband, Charles C. Kark Sr. children, Christel Harris of Corning, Charles Jr. & Nancy Kark, Jonathan & Pattie Kark, all of Port Crane Phillip & Flossie Kark of Mount Joy, PA., Joseph & Jean Kark of Millersville, PA., Debbie & Charlie Fernandez of Port Crane, 21 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren a sister, Nellie & Bob Geisinger of MO., brother-in-law, David R. Kark of FL., also several nieces and nephews.
Marjorie was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Port Crane, she and her husband operated the Path of Life Camp where she was the cook for 30 years. She was a graduate of Prairie Bible Institute in Alberta Canada, also the area director for the Gideon's International Auxiliary for 11 counties for four years. Marjorie also ran a catering service from 1981 through 1998 and she was the Woman of the Year for the Town of Fenton back in 1976. She was a dedicated and loving family woman and friend and will be dearly missed.
A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Port Crane 38 Canal St. Port Crane, NY 13833 at 1:00 PM, Rev. Daniel Baker officiating, burial will be in the Restful Acres Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the church on Friday from 4:00-7:00 PM and on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
