Marjorie Vivian Leath, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017. She was born on Sunday, July 29, 1923, in Parker City, Randolph County, IN, to the late Archie Virgil and Cora Fern (Moore) Clevenger. Marjorie was one of nine siblings. Her faith was always an important part of her life, and she was a long-time member of Simpson United Methodist Church. She worked at Lutheran Hospital for 24 years in Cardiac Evaluation, leading that department for many of those years. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, needlework, sewing, and baking delicious pies and cookies, which are fondly remembered by her loved ones.

Marjorie is survived by her children, C. Dian Leath of Fishers, IN, Marcia (Robert Okumura) Leath of Oakland, CA, Doris (Barry) Strugatz of Brooklyn, NY, and Richard (Miftah) Leath of Berkeley, CA; grandchildren, Katie, Elizabeth, John, Christian, Benjamin, Harlan, Marcella, Emma, and Molly; great-grandchildren, Abbie, Jacob, Gabriel, William, Matthew, Kira, and Bella. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, John Maurice Leath, and great-grandson, Joseph.

The memorial service is at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017, at Simpson United Methodist Church (2501 Harrison Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46807) with the memorial visitation one hour prior.
