Marsha Jean Brown, 68 of Bow passed away suddenly at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Providence, RI on May 9, 1949, a daughter of Alexander and Hilda (Cochrane) Chalko. Marsha's family came to New Hampshire in 1958, settling in North Pembroke, where she attended Pembroke Academy.

Marsha was employed by Dunkin Donuts in her younger years, when she met her husband, Robert, who was working across the street at Howdy Beef Burgers. After they were married, Robert went to work at the phone company. Marsha wanted to continue working in the community and was employed with Burger King, Stop and Shop and Market Basket where she retired in 2015.

She enjoyed knitting, sewing, pickling, canning especially jellies and jams and gardening.

She was predeceased by her brother, Alexander who died at age 4;
and her sister, Patricia Cate in 2015.

Marsha is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert M. Brown;
Her son, Craig A. Brown both of Bow; 2 sisters, Dianna Parichand and her husband Robert of Epsom, Barbara Desmarais and her husband, Charles of South Carolina; a brother in law, Stephen Cate of Contoocook and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be from 4 to 6pm on Wednesday, October 25 at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street, Concord where a celebration of her life will be held at 10am on Thursday. Interment will follow at Evans Cemetery in Bow.
