Martin (Hero) Canchola III, age 38, passed away on Monday, March 30 2015 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Martin was born on September 21, 1976 to Martin Canchola Jr. and Sara Rios. He graduated from W.B. Ray High School in 1996. Martin Canchola III was employed by City of Corpus Christi. He enjoyed playing football, fishing, taking his boys to the park, spending time with his wife and enjoyed watching his favorite team Detroit Lions. He will always be remembered for his love for his family and devotion to his work and friends at the City of Corpus Christi Brush Department. He is preceded death by his father, Martin Canchola Jr.
Martin Canchola III is survived by his wife of 19 years, Joyce Canchola; sons, Martin Canchola IV and Paul Canchola; his mother, Sara and step-dad Adam Sanchez; his father-in-law and step mother-in-law, Rosendo and Elva Segura; mother-in-law and step father-in-law Marie and Rudy Perez; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Rolando Rios Sr.; brothers, Marcus Canchola (Jessica), Andres Gonzales (Liza), George Gonzalez, Edward Garcia Jr, Eric Garcia Sr.; sister, Valerie G. Fuentes (Ricky); momma Ruth Garcia; numerous aunts, uncles, nephew, nieces and friends.
Special appreciation to all the city workers and medical staff workers at Spohn Shoreline I.C.U.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
