Martin was born on August 5, 1936 and passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017.

Martin was a resident of Ohio at the time of passing.

Marty graduated from Holy Name High School in 1954 and quickly took up an apprenticeship with General Motors, Cleveland in 1957.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Marty influenced and touched are invited to visitation Wednesday from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Boardman-Canfield Chapel. A prayer service will be held on Thursday at 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church, Boardman.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Marty to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
