Mary Alice Crail, age 89, of Atlanta, IN died peacefully June 8, 2015 at IU Health Tipton. She was born November 29, 1925 at Indianapolis, IN to Jacob and Sarah Frances (Cecil) Grimes.

She was a graduate of Noblesville High School. She had worked for over 40 years for the GC Murphy Company at locations in Noblesville, Broad Ripple and Kokomo Mall Stores until her retirement. She was also active with the Seniors Bowling Leagues and greatly enjoyed the company of her family and friends.

She married Ermal L. Crail in 1954. He preceded her in death in 1988. Surviving her are sons: James (Sonny) & Kathleen Crail of Zionsville, IN, Bruce Crail of Atlanta, IN, Alvin (Linda) Crail of Arcadia, IN, daughters: Laura Frances (Franny) & Gregory Johnson of Atlanta, IN, Maura (Dallas) Griffin of Cicero, IN, brothers: John Grimes of Cicero, IN and William Grimes of Clinton, IN.

Also surviving her is a niece and caregiver, Mary Lou Grimes. Additionally Mary was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Scott Butzin officiating at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034, with burial to follow at the Cicero Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until time of the services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzeimer's Association.
