Mary Ann Fisher

Mary Ann Fisher, 73, of Morgantown passed away on Friday, March 27, 2015 at Kindred Hospital in Oakdale, Pennsylvania. She was born in Fairmont on May 3, 1941 a daughter of the Late Glen McIntire and Mary Terlosky McIntire.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Fisher.
Mary Ann was a retired nurse working at Wishing Well and Fairmont General Hospital. She was a Roman Catholic by Faith; she was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Fairmont. Most recently, she had attended the St. John's University Parish in Morgantown. She graduated from Barrackville High School in 1959. Mary Ann had an interest in many things: among them bird watching, photography, politics and an interest in Pittsburgh and West Virginia University sports.
She is survived by her children, her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Patricia Fisher of Fairmont; and her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Richard Farley of Morgantown; her grandchildren, Robert Fisher II and his wife Tabetha, Joshua Fisher and his wife Sheena, Richard Farley and Benjamin Farley and a great grandson, Robert Fisher III; a brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Amanda McIntire of Bruceton Mills; a sister Karen Rush of Mt Vernon, Ohio; two sisters-in-in laws Peggy Adams and her husband Charles of Salem and Mary Alice McIntire of Morgantown; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Jack Farley of Morgantown.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary Ann was preceded in death by a brother, Robert "Bob" McIntire and a special friend, George Booker.
Friends and family may call at the Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street, Fairmont on Tuesday from 4pm to 7pm. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 7pm at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 with Sister Stella Cronauer, CSJ as the presider.
