Mary Claire (Levy) Field was born February 6, 1940 in Houston, TX to Michel Ernest Levy and Miriam Claire (Goodrich) Levy, and she passed away June 8, 2017 in Dallas, TX.

When she was very young, her father's service in the U.S. Army during WWII brought their family to live at various Army posts including California and Ft. Hood, TX, and she herself enjoyed her involvement in the Girl Scouts. Their family later settled in Dallas, where Mary was enrolled in South Oak Cliff High School before going on to earn her GED, and attending the Bryman School of Nursing where she qualified as a Medical Assistant.

Mary was preceded in death by her son, David Michel Greene; parents, Michel Ernest Levy and Miriam Claire (Goodrich) Levy; and her husband, Richard Eugene Field, to whom she was married but a brief five years before his passing. During their brief marriage they experienced life in many different parts of the globe, living in Houston, New Jersey, Tacoma, Washington, and Frankfort, Germany.

Mary is survived by her sisters, Jo Anne (Levy) Miller and husband David of Conroe, TX, and Michelle Jane (Levy) Lollar and husband James of Wichita Falls, TX; daughter, Melanie Claire Killian and husband Robert of Oak Leaf, TX; son, Joseph Goodrich Greene and wife Cyndi of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Melissa Claire Seale and husband Chris of Waxahachie, TX, Jennifer Elaine Armas and husband Jonathan of Waxahachie, TX, John Joseph Killian and wife Jami of Waxahachie, TX, Allison Leeann Bryant and husband Jacob of Waxahachie, TX, Claire Marie Greene of Houston, TX, Jacob Ernest Greene of Houston, TX, and Jillian Hope Greene of Denton, TX; the pride and absolute joys of her life, her great-grandchildren, Malone Claire Seale and Keegan Robert Seale; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
