Mary Ellen Neithefer Boylen born in Grand Rapids Michigan, current resident of Juno Beach, Florida passed away 05/12/2017 at 84 years of age. Preceded in death by her parents Maxine and Matthew Jacob (Lamar) Neithefer and her younger brother Billy. She is also preceded in death by her former husband and father of her five children Terrence P. Boylen.

She passed away peacefully with her children by her side: Ellen (Don)Westphal, Terry(Pilar)Boylen, Julie(Keith)Moran, Mary(Scott)Wichansky and Tom(Lisa) Boylen. She is survived by her sister Marla(Bill)Slater, Barbara(Frank) Creter, niece Tracy Slater, nephew Billy Slater, grandchildren, Julie,Jennifer,David, Rachel, Emily, Jason, Alyssa, Grace, Samantha, Zachary, Matthew, and McKenzie, great grandchildren, Jenna, Brayden, Tommy, Michael, and Audrey.

Mary, once named Miss Michigan was not only beautiful, but also exceptionally talented. She was a creative and successful entrepreneur. Her many hobbies included: cooking, sewing, writing, watching old movies and travel. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children. She imparted courage, dedication, hard work, and love of family.

Her deep faith comforted her throughout her lifetime. We know she is at peace and surrounded by angels. She will be deeply missed. We love you always and forever. Until we meet again, Mom.

Services-Family only. In lieu of service or flowers, donations can be made to her favorite charity -Paralyzed Veterans of America.
