Deaconess Heyward passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017.

Deaconess Heyward was a resident of Charleston, South Carolina at the time of passing.

The relatives and friends of Deaconess Mary Velma Heyward are invited to attend her Funeral Service 11:00 AM, Friday, September 15, 2017 at First Baptist Church of James Island, 1110 Camp Road, James Island, SC. Interment - First Baptist Church of James Island Cemetery, Johns Island, SC. Wake Service will be held Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the church from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
