Mary was born on September 14, 1934 and passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018.

Mary was a resident of Radcliff, Kentucky at the time of passing.

Mary Lou attended St. Francis de Sales High School, Ursuline College, West Virginia University, and Bellarmine College while completing degrees in English, music, and library science.

Her love of Catholic liturgy and music led her to serve as the organist for St. Christopher Catholic Church in Radcliff, Kentucky. She is survived by her four children and their spouses; Cathy and Jeff England, Jeff Gilbert and Cynthia Fraga, Melissa and Rob Grubbs, and Lauren and Todd Jones, nine grandchildren: James and Joann Childers, Rollins and Maura Grubbs, Zoie England, Riley Jones, Ross Jones, Natalie Grubbs, Eleanor Grubbs, Stella Fraga, and Julia Fraga, two great-grandsons: Ayden Childers and Gavyn Childers and a great-granddaughter, soon to be born to Rollins and Maura, sister-in-law, Emma Jean Wright and brother-in-law, Michael Gilbert The Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, in Radcliff, KY with Rev. Jeff Hopper officiating. Burial will follow in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday after 10:00 a.m. at Nelson-Edele.
