Mrs. Mary Taglia (Sambucini) formally of Brooklyn, NY resided in Clearwater Beach, FL for the past twenty years died December 12th, 2017 at the age of ninety-seven at her home on Island Estates in the loving arms of her two children. In the Grace of God, Mary joins her beloved parents Teresa and Antonio, three younger brothers Enrico-Augusto(Bill)-Anthony, and Antonio (Tony) her noble husband of sixty-eight years who all pre-deceased her. She is survived by her two children Teresa and Peter, three grandchildren Kimberly-Vanessa-Andrea, and three great grandchildren Asher-Sebastian-Leo. Mary trained as a garment designer with a passion and appreciation for art and fashion. She was a bright, courageous, and industrious woman who built a good life with love, drive, and grit. As a working woman, entrepreneur, eldest sibling, wife and mother with strong and admirable moral character; her devotion was caring for her extended family: she supported her parents and brothers while nurturing her husband and children. During her time of affliction, Mary was cared for by her daughter and aided by so many wonderful people but especially her human guardian angel, Martha. Mary will be buried beside Tony at the Florida National Cemetery at Bushnell, FL. The family requests that any donations in memory of Mary be made to St. Brendan RC Church whose priests, parishioners, staff, and friends helped her to sustain her faith even while confined at home. No flowers please.
