Maude Marie Dunn, 95, passed peacefully at home on March 22, 2015. She was born in Laurens, SC, but came to the District as a small child. She graduated from Cardoza High School, before finding work at the US Census Bureau, where she retired after 39 years of service. She is predeceased by her husband of almost 60 years, Thomas Dunn, Sr., as well as her four siblings. She is survived by her son, Thomas Dunn, Jr. (Senora); her daughters, Ellen O. Dunn and Karen Dunn Shakkour (Peter); sister-in-law, Betty Montague and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals-on-Wheels of America.
