Dr Teixeira was born on September 22, 1937 and passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019.

Dr Teixeira was a resident of Alice, Texas at the time of passing.

He graduated with a medical degree in 1964 from Universidade Federal do Cear.</p>

In 1968, he was drafted into the US Army as a Surgeon in the Vietnam War.

Visitation will be held from 5:30pm to 6:30pm on Friday, October 11, 2019 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Alice, TX. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30pm that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the Corpus Christi Cathedral. Visitation at the St. Elizabeth Hungary Catholic Church from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM on October 11, 2019.
