Melanio passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017.

Melanio was a resident of Connecticut at the time of passing.

He was a veteran of WWII, having served with the U.S. Army.

Melanio had a great devotion to the Rosary and made many rosaries to be share by many missions, hospital, families and friends abroad. He was predeceased by two brothers, Maximo Jr., and Luis Gonzalez A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, 35 Center St., Meriden. Burial with military honors will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
