Mom was born October 5, 1935 and grew up in Almyra Arkansas. She married our dad, Bill Parker, on November 27, 1954. Dad said he married the prettiest girl in Arkansas. They shared more than 60 years together until Dad passed away in 2015.

Mom worked for 36 years as the Bookkeeper at Growers Elevator in DeWitt and we believe she knew most everyone in town. When we went to restaurants she was usually the last to finish eating as she had been so busy talking with the other people there.

Mom had many hobbies over the years including sewing and ceramics but her main hobby was people. She was the true definition of a people person and was always happy to stop for a chat over a cup of coffee or a card game. She also loved playing the piano, music and singing. When we were growing up mom and dad would often have friends over which many times would end up with mom playing the piano and everyone singing. Mom could make a song or a game out of most anything and this is how she usually woke us up for school, with a song (lazy Audrey won't you get up, won't you get up won't you get up?)

Her pleasant and sunny disposition remained with her during her later years in the nursing home. Her caregivers would often tell us how much they loved her quick smile and how they wished they could clone her. Even when she could no longer speak or interact very much she would still smile and laugh.

Her sweet smile will never be forgotten.
