Michael was born on November 18, 1924 and passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017.

Michael was a resident of Colorado.

Michael attended Wyandotte High School in KCKS and KCKS Junior College.

He served in the United States Army 8th Infantry Division during World War II in France Luxemburg Belgium and Germany where he earned a Purple Heart and was later awarded the Bronze Star.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 708 N. 4th Kansas City Kansas on Wednesday May 17 at 9:30 AM followed by a reception in the parish hall. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:30 PM at Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth Kansas.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers to consider a donation to Sister Servants of Mary or Little Sisters of the Poor.
