Michael Joseph Siluk, 73, of Lake Mary, FL passed away suddenly on December 18, 2016. He was born to the late Michael and Donalda Siluk in Norwich, Connecticut on October 4, 1943. Michael served as a member of the Connecticut Army National Guard for 24 years, retiring from his service. After his military retirement, Michael began a second career and started a video wedding production company and later worked at the Sanford Airport. He loved creating and flying model RC airplanes. Michael also enjoyed recreational shooting and fishing. He was preceded in passing by his wife, Tarja, who he met after high school and was married to for 39 years prior to her passing in 2007. Michael will be deeply missed by his family and closest friends.



He was preceded in passing by his wife, Tarja and brother, Donald Siluk.



Michael is survived by his children, Triina O’Rourke and her husband Steven, and Eric Siluk; his grandchildren, Clayton, Joshua, Sean and Todd O’Rourke, his great grandchild, Declan O’Rourke; and close friends.



Inurnment with military honors will be held at a later date at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
