Michael William Jones, age 66, of Martin, GA, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at his home.

Born April 20, 1948 in Atlanta, GA, he was a son of the late William Clyde and Mildred Fay Hinkle Jones.

He was retired from the DeKalb County Fire and Rescue.

Family members include his daughter, Dana Shostak of Cumming, GA; his son, and daughter- in- law; David and Michelle Jones of Flowery Branch, GA; grandchildren, Sydney Shostak, Brock Jones, Chase Jones, and Lyndzi Jones; sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Bob McCall of Lavonia, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Mary Jones of Toccoa and Dennis and Karen Jones of Clarkston, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at two o'clock Saturday, April 18, 2015 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Jerrell Beatty officiating.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 12 noon until the service on Saturday, April 18, 2015.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital For Children, www.shrinershospitalforchildren.org.

Whitlock Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
