In loving memory of Michelle J. Johchuck of Tampa, Florida. Born on July 11, 1962 at Fort Knox, Kentucky, Mickey went to be with our Lord on March 23, 2017 in Tampa. Mickey spent many years in Radcliff, Kentucky and had the opportunity to travel and live with her family in Alaska and North Carolina before returning with her family to Radcliff. During her young life and in high school, Mickey excelled in gymnastics, was a cheerleader and played in the band. She went on to join the Air Force and was stationed in California. After her honorable discharge, she spent many years in California until her move to be closer to family in Florida, where she met and married her husband, John. Mickey was a good Christian woman who loved her family, friends and animals. She gave selflessly of herself to help others her entire life.



Mickey is survived by her husband John N. Johchuck of Tampa, Florida, and predeceased by her father Melvin N. Meyer. Mickey is also survived by her mother Joyce A. Meyer of Kentucky, brothers Craig (Sue) Meyer of Kentucky, Michael (Kandy) Meyer of Texas, sister Danielle (Allen) Cole of Florida, brother David (Lisa) Meyer of Texas and sister Denise (Danny) Fowler of Kentucky. Additionally, Mickey is survived by many nephews and nieces, great and great-great nephews and nieces as well as an uncle, two aunts and many cousins.



Mickey will be traveling home to Kentucky for burial. We are so thankful to Blount & Curry Funeral Home for their compassionate care at the beginning of Mickey’s journey. We are equally thankful to Nelson-Edelen Bennett Funeral Home as we prepare to lay her to rest. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 29. Visitation for friends and family will be from 10:30 – 11:30 am at Nelson-Edelen Bennett Funeral Home, 2072 S. Dixie Boulevard, Radcliff, Kentucky 40160, phone 270.351.3172 website www.nebfh.com/. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church of Elizabethtown, 1016 Pear Orchard Road, Elizabethtown, Kentucky 42701.
