Mignon Darlene "Dolly" Cuff passed away peacefully at her home in Yuma at Desert Rose and went to be with her Heavenly Father on July 22, 2017. She was 92.

Dolly was born on September 8,1924, in Pomona, Missouri, to William and Mary Brower. Her family moved to Decatur, Illinois, where Dolly graduated from Decatur High School. In 1947 she married Paul T. Cuff in the base chapel at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. They moved to Yuma in 1953 and raised three children: Philip, David and Melinda. They spent 45 years together until Paul's death in 1992.

Dolly was first and foremost a loving mother and housewife. She loved volunteering at the First Presbyterian Church. She worked as the Christian Education Coordinator and substitute church secretary, in addition to serving as a Deacon, Elder, Sunday School teacher and as a member of Dorcas Circle. She also worked at Bard Valley Date Gardens (The Dome) as their bookkeeper/secretary. She retired after Paul's death and put her time into redecorating and landscaping her home. She loved her flowers and her cats.

Dolly is survived by her son, Philip (Aurora) Cuff, her daughter, Melinda (Steve) Longsworth, six grandchildren, three step grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul, her son, David, brother, Eugene Brower, and sisters Virginia Ruth and Mary Frances Brower.

Funeral services will be held on August 1, 2017, at 2:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church.

Memorials may be made to either First Presbyterian Church or to the Humane Society of Yuma.

The task accomplished, the long day done.
It is morning on the other side. and all is light and joy.
