Our beloved Miguel "Mike" A Moreno, age 69, of Austin, Texas, and was called home by our Heavenly Father on March 13, 2017. Mike was born February 12, 1948, in El Paso, Texas, to parents Jose Angel and Carmen Vasquez Moreno. He proudly served our country in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.

He Retired from Seton Medical Center after 22 years, where he worked as an EEG technician. His passion was football, especially his beloved Dallas Cowboys.

Mike is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Deborah (Debi) D. Moreno; daughters, Adrianna and Veronica (Rudy) Moreno; grandchildren, Gabriel Moreno, Jazlyn Kerr, Raymond Lira, Jasen Kerr and Legend Canales; sisters: Irene Olivares (Raul), Carmen (Vicente) Flores, Dolores Cabral, Angie (Richard) Clark, Martha (Carlos) Mellado, Margaret (Oswaldo) Melendez, and a host of other loving family and friends.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., with Recitation of Holy Rosary at 7:00 P.M., on Monday, March 27, 2017, at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M., at St. Paul Catholic Church at 10000 David Moore Drive, Austin, Texas. Interment to follow at 1:45 P.M., at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. Guests are encouraged to wear Dallas Cowboys colors to the Visitation and Funeral Mass.

Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Daniel Silva, Billy Kerr, Oscar Muella, Robert Olivares, Daniel Moreno, Rudy Canales, Jose Cabral, and Vincent Flores. Honorary Pallbearers will be Salvador Gonzalez and Alejandro Del Hierro.
