Minnie Leigh Chastain, age 88, died on February 9, 2017, at Maple Ridge Health Care Center in Cartersville, Georgia. A lifelong resident of Cartersville, she was born on September 28, 1928, the fourth of seven children of Homer L. and Lula P. Bell Chastain.
Minnie’s life revolved around her large family and her work. She was a loyal and devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She worked in the office at E-Z Mills for many years, and later for Bartow County. She had a quick wit, and a lively personality.
