Monica L. Kurtinaitis, age 67 of Warren, passed away March 31, 2015. She was born in Wayne County on November 8, 1947; the daughter of Adam and Agnes Kurtinaitis. Monica was an avid golfer and longtime and dedicated teacher and coach for South Lake School District for 30+ years. Dear sister of Margaret Voorhess of Howell, Kathleen (Dale) Warsow of Wayne, Christie Kurtinaitis of Ypsilanti, Lisa Kurtinaitis of Westland and Adam Kurtinaitis of Ann Arbor. She is also survived by 5 cherished nephews, one great-nephew, two great-nieces and many loving friends. Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 9th from 1:00pm until 8:00pm with a Rosary 7:15pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile), Warren. A memorial mass will take place on Friday, April 10th at 11:00am at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 14115 E. 14 Mile, Sterling Heights.
