Monico C. Antonio, 85, died peacefully at his residence in Summerville, SC on October 16, 2017. He was born on May 9, 1932 in the Philippines.



He served in the Phillippine Army and then went on to serve in the US Navy in 1955 until his retirement in 1986. He is an Honorable Lifetime Member of the Filipino Community Center. He owned Antonio-Vause RCF, Inc. and Antonio-Staples RCF Inc. His passions included gardening and building things.



He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Adelaida (Farinas); four daughters, Melanie Vause (William), Marlene Kniesche, Melody Staples (Bryan), and Melaida Allen (Keith); nine grandchildren, and three great-granddaughters.



The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.,at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home.





A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 21, 2017 in the chapel of Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave. North Charleston. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.
