Morgan Reed Wojciechowski, 15, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Mercy Regional Medical Center.

He was born December 18, 2000 in Lakewood and had been a Vermilion resident since 2001 moving from Avon Lake.

Morgan was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and had attended St. Mary School, Vermilion. Morgan was a freshman at Vermilion High School where he was on the track and soccer teams. He excelled at sports and participated on a premier soccer team, Samba Soccer Club out of Cleveland. He loved to play Xbox, airsoft, ride dirt bikes, and go hunting and fishing with his dad and brother. He also had a passion for science and computers.

He is survived by his parents, James and Christine (nee Kerg) Wojciechowski; brother, Colin Wojciechowski; sister, Ella Wojciechowski; paternal grandfather, Gary Wojciechowski; paternal grandmother, Linda (Thomas) Zaborowski; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Elizabeth Kerg.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 25, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange Street, Vermilion. Fr. Ronald Brickner will officiate.
