Feisty, funny and adventurous, Muriel Juneau will be remembered at a gathering for family and friends at Dunbar Funeral Home, Irmo, SC on Tuesday, August 8th at 11 AM.

The daughter of the late Joseph and LeClearse (Peg) Davis, Muriel spent her childhood in Kenosha, Wisconsin where she graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. She raised her children James Bailey (Kevin Austin) and Jill Reiter (Ric) in the Milwaukee area where she resided for many years.

In 1998, she married her devoted husband Raymond Juneau. They enjoyed traveling the world including France, Italy and Hong Kong. In 2009, Ray and Muriel escaped the Wisconsin winters by relocating to Irmo, SC where they happily settled and made the most of their retirement.

Muriel pursued a successful career in the insurance industry working as a subrogation specialist, but her true passions were creative in nature. She was a seamstress, artist, Christmas tree decorator extraordinaire and will be remembered by many for her expertise in Asian gardening and décor.

She took great pride in her family especially, her grandchildren (Laurel and Kyle Reiter,) and preferred teaching them blackjack over family recipes.

Muriel passed away Tuesday, August 1st at age 74. Memorials may be made to charity of the donor’s choice.
