Nancy J. Burgoyne, 60, of Birnamwood, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, August 9, 2017.
Nancy was born in Wausau on January 14, 1957 to Herman W. and Evangeline (Seehafer) Baumann. Nancy graduated from D.C. Everest Senior High and went on to marry the love of her life, Harry A. Burgoyne on July 15, 1978. They shared 39 years together.
Nancy had a zest for life. She loved traveling with Harry to the U.P, Lake Superior, Copper Harbor, Cherry picking in Door County and just taking a day trip to anywhere. She enjoyed going to the casino and going fishing. She was blessed working at a job she loved at Mount View Care Center as a Dietary Aide where she enjoyed taking the time to sit with the residents and her co-workers, getting to know them and checking in to make sure they were doing ok. Most important to Nancy was her family- she especially enjoyed watching movies with her daughter Amy. Nancy and Amy loved spending time decorating their homes together for Nancy's favorite holiday- Halloween. She made sure to spend as much time with her family and friends as she could. Nancy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
