NANCY JANE (WHITE) GRIFFIN, 81, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017, in Indianapolis, IN. Born June 22, 1935, in Battle Creek, MI and lived most of her life in Fort Wayne.

As a child, she loved touring the Kellogg's Cereal Factory with her siblings and eating the special treat. She spent time traveling to England and Hawaii after retiring from General Electric, Taylor Street, where she built electric cables for air craft. She was an avid college basketball fan with Indiana University as her favorite team and Michigan State running very close in second place. She was very excited that the Cubs won the World Series in 2016. She loved watching Colts football. She was an Elvis Presley fan. She loved to dance, ride a bike, play with her grandchildren, and complete word puzzles.

Surviving are brother, Jerold White of Battle Creek, MI; sister, Joann Westerman of Fort Wayne; daughter, Melody (Richard) Coffey of Indianapolis, IN; son, Beau (Heather) Jones of England; daughters, Holly (Jason) Sonner of Jacksonville, FL and April (Nathan) Moore of Warsaw, IN; granddaughters, Hilary and Kilie Coffey, Baillie Jones, and Raven (William) Woodbury; grandsons, Joshua and Logan Moore; granddaughters, Audrey and Macy Moore; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Audrey (Shores) White; sisters, Betty June Anderson and Rose Mary Knowles; and brother, Kenneth White Sr.

Service is 1 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2017, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne Street, with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
